At my house BLUSHING

Cant remember if I posted but Sabrina found a little Jack Russell Mix roaming the neighborhood without a collara couple of weeks ago. We posted on petfinder.com, checked the vet for a microchip, posted on all the local message boards, sent pics and emails to the SPCA and the pound but no one came forward.

The first night we found she was in heat.AAACK! My dogs kept attacking her because of the pack mentality. It was awful. We had to keep her in a room away from them, then get them all out in the back yard so we could take her out front to potty. It was a huge mess. I was about to lose it. I was convinced we would find a home for this dog. No way was I going through this forever.

Well, one day I went in Sabrina's room to check on the dog while she was at school. Lucy slipped between my legs and went straight for my pack of dogs waiting for her. I was scared to death. They sniffed each other then ran outside to play. It was like they all suddenly decided to accept her.

My other dogs don't mind my daughter but they aren't very close to her. I'm their person. Lucy on the other hand idolizes Sabrina. She follows her everywhere, sleeps with her, cries at the door when she goes to school, and 15 minutes every day before she gets home from school the dog waits at the door watching out the window for her to get off the bus. ANGEL I don't have the heart to find another home for her. I know I'm crazy. This is dog #4. EEK But this dog is in love with my daughter. She even dresses her up and Lucy just happily follows her around. She also never barks. My others won't shut up.

I took some new pics of the dogs and thought I would share. Lucy is the smaller white dog with black spots and black ears.
Gracie is the chubby black/tan dachsund
Pearl is the small dachsund/chihuahua mix
Stitch is the big white/black cattle dog mix

Yes, I'm happy she found a pet that adores her like Lucy does.
Not a new camera. I finally took your advice and started using my cell phone. This is the first phone I've had that takes decent pictures.
